I am aware that this series of articles is not typical
voter guides, however, my objective is to alert the nation to the
real peril facing America. Unless we are aware of the real
problem, we will never respond correctly. Unfortunately,
I fear that we may well have stepped beyond that “point of
no return”. Our only hope rests with Jesus Christ. Unless
this nation returns to its former Christian heritage it will go the
way of the Roman Empire That decision is up to you, you the voter;
however, there are certain guiding principles which must be employed
as we make such decisions. The choices we make will impact
greatly upon the kind of nation we are or will become and this should
be taken very seriously. I will say this, however, the decisions
we have made in recent years are in-excusable, and have left this
nation struggling for its very survival. Therefore, we should
stop and take stock of what has happened to this nation and the reasons
for it. If this does not change our way of voting then this
nation will continue its decline to the point of destruction. I
do not believe that this is an exaggeration.
The first things we need to consider are the things which made
this nation great from the beginning. America was once a great
nation, a powerful nation, a free nation, and a well respected nation,
not only by its own citizens, but by the entire world. While
that respect may not be lost completely, it is seriously diminished
and under assault. Our freedoms are literally in grave danger. Corruption,
spiritual corruption that is, from within our government is rampant.
The U. S. Constitution has been gutted by those who have sworn to
uphold and protect it-- the United States Supreme Court and
all who have been responsible for putting irresponsible men on that
Court as well as those who have supported the men who have put those
irresponsible men on the bench. We all must share in this responsibility
to some degree but it is not too late to do something about it. No
nation can survive this assault and we must return to the government
given to us by our fore-fathers or be prepared to face the consequences.
Let’s take a look at the kind of government given to us by
our fore-fathers that we might be able to return to that government. It
is our only hope for survival.
This government was based strongly upon, not religious
principle, but upon Christian principles and every man who chooses
to ignore or deny this fact is a part of our problem today- no exceptions. The
United States Supreme Court has obliterate these Christian principles
and just about succeeded in bringing this once great nation to its
very knees and I personally hold these men responsible and in total
contempt, not as individuals, but for what they have done to this
once great nation. Not all Justices who have sat on the bench
are responsible for the demise, but the majority are indeed responsible
and short of repentance before Almighty God, they shall indeed be
held accountable. Not one of these men who has been responsible
for the assault upon this Godly nation will escape the judgment of
Almighty God. Short of repentance they shall stand before the
Great White Throne Judgment with the blood of children dripping from
their hands because they have made the taking of “innocent
human life” legal in this nation. They have actually
made it legal under our system of law, to take the lives of untold
thousands of innocent children under the guise of a woman’s
right to choose.
How low can we sink morally and survive as a nation? What
is our responsibility in this dastardly crime? This in itself
is enough to bring God’s Judgment upon any nation or individual
whether they believe in Almighty God or not. Unbelief will
change absolutely nothing. One could write volumes outlining the
violations or assaults by the Supreme Court and other lesser courts
on the U. S. Constitution but time and space will not permit it at
this time. Let’s take a brief look at only a few of the
things they have done which violates the U. S. Constitution and not
to mention the laws of Almighty God.
1. Under the guise of “Separation
of Church And State”, a concept which is not even mentioned in
our Constitution, they have obliterated the First Amendment
of the Constitution and just about succeeded with the elimination
of Christianity from our society.
2. They have made it illegal to read
God’s word in the class rooms of America, a nation founded
as a Christian Nation.
3. They have made prayer in the classrooms
of America illegal, in a nation founded as a Christian Nation.
4. They have ripped, from the US Constitution, “private
property ownership rights”.
5. Indeed, whether they recognize
it or not, they have attacked the very foundation of this nation
with their assault on Christianity and as a result this nation is
literally crumbling as we speak.
6. They have imposed the teaching
of evolution upon our educational system and sharply limited or prevented
the teaching of creationism.
Since evolution is completely incompatible with Christianity, they
have in effect; set the stage which makes it mandatory that the public
schools teach the youth of our nation that there is no God. If “evolution” is
true then God does not exist and Christianity is in vain. The
two are completely and unalterably incompatible. I would invite you
to go to my personal website (iftrue.org) and read more detail on many
of these issues. You will find these detailed articles under the heading
of “Good News”.
This list could go on endlessly but this is more than enough
to show how the Courts of this land have attacked and almost obliterated
the U. S. Constitution, the document that they have sworn to uphold
and protect. What does all this have to do with our voting
in this nation? We voted to put the men in office that placed
these people in key positions of our court system and allowed them
to obliterate the U. S. Constitution. While all this took place the
Church, sat idly by, allowed it to happen and objected not! And
we all joined in unison and simply agreed that it was the “Law
of the Land”.
It is not the “Law of the Land”, it is a violation
of our Constitution and we can do something about it even now. We
must stop voting for these Godless renegades and clear out about
seventy-five-ninety percent of what we have sent to Washington and
demand strict adherence to the Constitution. If we fail to
act then you can sit back and watch this nation as it crumbles into
the ashes as did the Roman Empire because God’s Judgment shall
move forward unchecked.
There are three questions we should ask every person for which
we might vote.
1. Do
you believe in evolution or creationism?
If they believe in evolution they cannot believe in God and
do not deserve to serve in a free government such as ours. If
they believe in creationism they cannot support abortion and if they
do support free choice they cannot be Christians and do not deserve
to serve in government in this free nation.
2. Do
you believe in and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ?
If they do not then they do not deserve your support for they
lack wisdom. Even some “so-called Christians” will
wail at this simple solution but it is the only thing that is going
to turn this nation around.
3. Do
you support a woman’s right to free choice or do you support
abortion?
This is one issue which should cause every voter to become
a one issue voter. Any man who supports the taking of innocent
human life stands on the threshold of eternal damnation. I
know that such a statement is not politically correct, but it is
time for someone “to tell it as it is”. Yes, Almighty
God will hold you responsible when you support the taking of innocent
human life.
This nation has just about had all this Godlessness it can
stand. Absolute adherence to this spiritual test will correct the
problem facing this nation but I recognize that it will drive many
liberals and some unregenerate conservatives up the proverbial
wall. Even
non Christians should use these guidelines because that is the only
thing that is going to protect their freedoms and their constitutional
rights. People of other religious persuasions would be wise
to use these guidelines because that is the only way their right
to worship as they please can be protected whether they realize it
or not.
Why has America been so great? It is because of these Christian
principles by which we have allowed ourselves to be governed. As
these Christian principles diminish, so also do our freedoms. These
guidelines have protected and will continue to protect the freedoms
which all people, Christian or non Christian alike have so long enjoyed
but if they are allowed to disappear so will our freedoms, for both
Christians and non-Christians.
Sadly, it is not only Christianity which is under attack
but the very foundation of our nation and that includes our freedoms.
“…Whenever the pillars of Christianity shall be
overthrown, our present republican form of government, and all the
blessings which flow from them, must fall with them…” Jedediah
Morse, known as the Father of Modern Geography.
With that said, you can do what you like but you have already
seen the demise of our freedoms and it is in direct proportion to
the demise of Christianity from our society. Unfortunately,
unwise men are working to remove the Christian principles from the
heart and soul of America.
Lest you begin to think that I am some kind of “political
right wing nut” allow me to re-assure you. I have been involved
in the public schools for many years. In the early years of
my career I taught history at both the secondary and the elementary
level. I always taught my students that a government, such as ours,
could not survive unless the people were completely honest, totally
involved and properly informed. Today I might revise that just
a little and say that a government such as ours cannot survive without “Godly” men
at the helm.
If you believe that my opinions are too far to the right consider
what the founding fathers had to say about these same issues. Keep
in mind that they gave us the greatest nation ever to exist.
I realize, of course, that the far out left wing liberals,
including the media, will likely deny this but it is because they
are basically dishonest, therefore, their opinions should count
for nothing, for they lack wisdom. Wisdom comes only from Almighty
God and, since they do not accept God, they have absolutely no wisdom
and are depending entirely upon man’s knowledge and that simply
is not sufficient. Remember what God’s word says about them? “…Professing
themselves to be wise, they became fools…” They
are “out of the loop” and understand not one thing that
is happening around them. George Washington himself said “…It
is impossible to rightly govern . . . without God and the Bible…”
That is what’s wrong with our nation today. That
is the reason we stand today on the threshold of destruction. Let’s
find out a little more about what our founding fathers had to say
on this issue because it closely parallels the point I am making.
“…The birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked
with the birth-day of the Savior and forms a leading event in the
progress of gospel dispensation…[The Declaration of Independence
first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer’s
mission upon the earth and laid the corner stone of human government
upon the first precepts of Christianity…” John
Quincy Adams
“…It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often
that this great nation was founded, not by religionist, but by Christians; not
on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ!...” Patrick
Henry
“Providence has a given to our people the choice of their
rulers, and is the duty of our Christian nation to select and prefer
Christians for their rulers…”
John
Jay, First Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court
“…No free government now exists in the world unless
where Christianity is acknowledged, and is the religion of the country….Its
foundations is broad and strong, and deep…it is the purest
system of morality, the firmest auxiliary and only stable support
of all human laws…” Signed Simply From the Court
“…I have always said and will always say that the
studious perusal of the sacred volume (the Holy Bible) will make
us better citizens…”
Thomas
Jefferson
“…It is impossible to rightly govern. . . without
God and the Bible…”
George
Washington
“…The Bible is a book worth more than all other
books ever printed…”
Patrick
Henry
“…Suppose a nation in some distant Region, should
take the Bible for their only law Book, and every member should regulate
his conduct by the precepts there exhibited. . . What a Utopia, what
a Paradise would this region be…” John
Adams
Consider this, if these founding fathers, operating with Godly
wisdom, were able to put together the foundation of the greatest
nation ever to exist then who are we to decide that we can do it
better using only man’s knowledge when man’s knowledge
alone has proven to be a complete failure.
Now if any choose to label me a “right wing nut” then
all of these fore fathers are were likewise “right wing nuts” and
I consider that very good company, certainly better than many of today’s “left
wing nuts”. I am not sure that I would be labeled a “politically
correct” individual today but I know that I am correct.
Many State Constitutions, during the early period of our
history, mandated that every political office holder be required
to profess Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. I am not suggesting
that for today, but I am suggesting that before you vote for anyone,
obtain answers to the three questions I mentioned earlier and vote
accordingly if you desire to see this nation rise up from the “mess” we
have today but, if not, continue on our present trend and ‘in
accordance with God’s Holy word, you will have “what
you say”. Actually, you may not even need to literally
ask the questions mentioned because you will probably know the answers
after hearing them speak on the issues but you must vote according
to how they stand on the issues. You must vote on whether they rely
upon Godly wisdom or man’s knowledge and man’s knowledge
is never sufficient. If you fail to vote for Godly wisdom
but rely upon man’s knowledge then you can consider yourself
a part of the problem. God will not force Himself upon you
but you will live with the consequences of your decisions and this
nation will rise or fall based upon the decisions we make at the
ballot box or, more importantly, the decisions we make within our
heart. God can turn this nation around if the Christians
make a stand, but the question is, will they?
